Three UK has relaunched its portfolio of SIM only plans to cater for us as a nation of data hungry users.
In the press release, Three stated that the new SIM only plans will provide flexibility, great value and no surprises when it comes to data. Considering that since June 2010 SIM only sales have risen 34% compared to June 2012, Three could be making a great move as the rise in SIM only plans suggest that people no longer want to be stuck in a contract for 24 months, and want to move to a SIM only plan that requires just 30 days notice.
The new SIM plans have been designed for users that want to browse the web on their phones – a group Three are calling the “Savvy SIM-ers”. Starting at just £12.90 on a 30 day rolling contract users can expect to receive 200 minutes, 5000 texts and all-you-can-eat data.
Its worth mentioning at this point that the only plans which offer tethering alongside the all-you-can-eat data are those within “The One Plan”. However, for £25 users can get a “One Plan” SIM with 2000 minutes, 5000 texts and of course tether-able all-you-can-eat data.
