Samsung to launch Galaxy Note II on August 29th

Samsung has indicated that it plans to announce the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event taking place in Berlin on August 29th. Speaking to Reuters, a Samsung spokesperson said “”We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29.” Pretty much conclusive evidence you’d think?

It is widely speculated that the next generation Galaxy Note will feature a 5.5″ display, 0.2″ bigger than the current, as well as a higher resolution camera, and a faster processor. We are also anticipating the handset launching with Android 4.1 Jellybean with the addition of the Samsung TouchWiz interface.

Having recently launched the Galaxy SIII with Android 4.0, a 720P Super AMOLED display, 8 megapixel camera and a quad core processor the Note has a lot to look forward to for its next iteration!
