Apples countdown to their 25 billionth App Store download is over, the winner has not be revealed yet, as soon as they have been we will update you. Apple started their countdown to the 25 billionth App Store download on 17th February, this is not the first time Apple has run this sort of promotion. Last year Apple ran a promotion for ten billion App Store downloads and another one the year before, ten billion iTunes Music Store download. Apple also did a promotion for the one billionth song and app as well as a 100 million song download.
To enter the competition to win the $10000 gift card you could of purchased or downloaded an app from the App Store or you could of fill in the entry form. The winner was the person who downloads the 25 billionth App or submitted the entry form straight after the 24,999,999th app is download.
